Sarah’s Juice Cleanse

Easy to bake, fast to finish! This new article explains why organic, gluten free recipes are the best thing since slide bread!

I have been super interested in doing our juice cleanse when I started working at Evolve 9 months ago (wow, time flies). But I was nervous because I really like food, especially crunchy food and thought it would be really hard. But I read up on our benefits of doing an Evolve cleanse and we picked out an order of the ones I wanted to include and created a new product called Sarah’s Juice Cleanse. A one day cleanse includes 1-8oz Anti, 4-16 oz variety, ending with a Simple or Spicy Green. Between each of the juices drink 8oz of water.

Benefits of the Juice Cleanse

  • Reset your metabolism
  • Reset your stomach, liver & pancreas
  • Reset & Repair your Gut
  • Eliminate comfort eating
  • Boost Energy
  • Rehydrate your body.

Sarah’s 1- Day Juice Cleanse Experience

I was super excited to get started, but a little nervous that I would be hungry all day. I picked up some super-free gum and a bunch of ICE, in case I had the urge to crunch. (I was definitely in my head).

First EVERY cleanse starts with a

8oz Anti- (pictured is a 16oz) anti cold press juice

Anti -inflammatory, Anti-fungal, Anti-bacterial, Aids in Digestion, Antioxidant, Relieves
Joint Pain, Relieves Heartburn, Supports Weight Loss
Ingredients: Turmeric, Ginger, Coconut Water, Lemon, Lime, Cayenne

My tip is to save your 8oz bottle and fill it up with water between each juice.

16oz – Beet It

Aids in Digestion, Boosts Immunity, Cleanses the Liver, Hydrating, Reduces
Inflammation, Prevents Cancer, Speeds up Muscle Recovery, Supports Weight Loss
Ingredients: Cucumber, Orange, Beets, Ginger

I choose Beet It as my second option because I usually go for a morning run and this juice is great before or after exercise.

16 oz- Carrot Appl

Boost Immunity, Cancer Fighter, Cleanse the Liver, Lowers Cholesterol, Increases
Metabolism, Nourishes Skin, Reduces Inflammation, Improves Heart Health
Ingredients: Green Apple, Carrots

I choose Carrot Apple next because it’s very energizing and wanted a juice to help me get through the afternoon. I also feel like the carrots are a little more hearty so its a great mid morning to afternoon juice

16oz – Grapefruit

Grapefruit – Antioxidant, Anti-Inflammatory, Aids Digestive Tract, Prevents Dehydration, Heart Healthy, High in Vitamin C, Fights Fatigue, Improves Skin Health
Ingredients: Grapefruit

Grapefruit is my FAVORITE juice! It’s so refreshing! I choose this one because I wanted the halfway point to be something to look forward too! It was SOOOO delicious!

16oz- Pucker Up GrannyPucker Up Granny Coldpress Juice

Boost Immunity, Aids in Digestion, Cleanses the Liver, Relieves Muscle Pain,
Increases Metabolism, Antioxidant, Reduces Inflammation, Supports Weight Loss
Ingredients: Green Apple, Ginger, Lemon

This was my dinner and I munched on some ice when I got home but honestly I didn’t miss chewing as much as I thought I would. I honestly wasn’t sure about this one because I prefer red apples to green apples. But it was DELICIOUS, the ginger gave it a little kick but it was really good!

Simply Green Coldpress Juice16oz- Simply Greens

Hydrating, High in Vitamin C, Iron & Calcium Rich, Decrease Fever, Relieves
Joint Pain, Aids in Digestion, Anti-Inflammatory, Supports Weight Loss
Ingredients: Cucumber, Spinach, Romaine, Celery, Lemon, Cayenne

Last but not least we end the cleanse with either our Simply Green or Spicy Green. These two have the least amount of sugar so it’s the best way to end your day. I choose the Simply because I’m a wuss when it comes to spice.

It was an early night to bed for me. I like my coffee and not having any for the day did give me a mild headache. However the thing I noticed most was that my heart rate runs consistently high, even my resting sits at 50-90 and the whole day it was low an average of 69. I didn’t notice at the time but as I thought back I did feel better through out the day. I wouldn’t say I was ever hungry just wanted to eat out of habit. I did think I was going to be starving the next morning, however I had a GREAT night sleep and woke up feeling better than I have in a long time and that doing a cleanse the next day would have been easier. One reason I wanted to do the cleanse was to prove to myself that food doesn’t have to control me. I am proud of myself for doing it and hope to do a two day cleanse at the end of the month.
